Ornithine Aminotransferase (OAT)

Ornithine-delta-aminotransferase catalyzes the major catalytic reaction for ornithine. Ornithinemia presumably due to deficiency of ornithine ketoacid aminotransferase (OAT) was found in 9 patients with gyrate atrophy of the choroid and retina.
