Rho GTPase Activating Protein 10 (ARHGAP10)

GRAF2 contains a central PH domain, followed by a RhoGAP domain and a C-terminal SH3 domain. Sequencing cDNA clones suggested the presence of GRAF2 splice variants. Northern blot analysis detected high expression of a 3.8-kb transcript in heart and skeletal muscle, with lower expression in placenta, lung, kidney, and pancreas. A 1.8-kb transcript was also detected in liver and skeletal muscle.The Psgap-A variant encodes a 786-amino acid protein containing a pleckstrin homology (PH) domain, a Rho GAP domain, and a C-terminal SH3 domain. Compared with Psgap-A, Psgap-B lacks 10 residues between the PH and GAP domains and the 12 N-terminal residues of the GAP domain, and Psgap-C lacks 51 residues between the GAP and SH3 domains.
