Phosphatidic Acid Phosphatase Type 2 Domain Containing Protein 3 (PPAPDC3)

PPAPDC3 Belongs to the PA-phosphatase related phosphoesterase family. Plays a role as negative regulator of myoblast differentiation, in part through effects on MTOR signaling. In vitro, recombinant PDP1/PPAPDC2 preferentially hydrolyzed polyisoprenoid diphosphates, including FPP and GGPP over a variety of glycerol- and sphingo-phospholipid substrates.
